We have just heard from the developers of "The Bow" who are building the new Encana Tower across the street from the hotel and we will have road closures this weekend. I wanted to get you this information ASAP so you could start to get the word out.

Re: Center Street Closure

Please be advised that Center Street, between 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue, will be closed from Friday, March 7, 2008 at 7:00pm until Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 8:00am due to a concrete pour on THE BOW project site.

During this closure the west lane of Center Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue will be accessible to transit only. Also to ensure public safety, flagmen will be posted at 7th Avenue and Center Street and at 5th Avenue and Center Street to ensure there are no public vehicles driving down Center Street.

In addition, the back alley behind the Hanover building will be blocked off at Center Street and we will need to limit access to the Petro-Canada loading docks and the parkade access off of Center Street. Vehicles that require access into the Petro-Canada parkade will be accommodated and busses will continue to stop in front of the Petro-Canada building.

Please note that you?will be able to?access the hotel via 9th avenue onto Centre Street Northbound however you will not be able to go any farther than the hotel.?You be able to access the hotel from Centre Street Southbound lanes.
